Cookie Policy

Last updated September 20, 2026

Syntax aims to keep tracking to a minimum. Cookies or browser storage may be used where necessary to operate the site, maintain security, remember preferences, or support features you explicitly use.

Essential technologies

Some storage or similar technologies may be strictly necessary for the website, security controls, or application functionality. These cannot always be disabled without affecting the service.

The Living System Charter oath (Charter v0.1) is stored in this browser via a first-party cookie and/or localStorage so the habitat can remember that Continuity, Consent of the swarm, and Trace were sworn. The cookie holds the server-issued oath document id. Feeding is refused unless that id exists in Convex. Clearing site data will require the pact again.

Analytics

If analytics or performance monitoring is introduced, this policy will be updated to identify the relevant technology and its purpose. Non-essential analytics should not be assumed to be active merely because this policy describes the possibility.

Third parties

Infrastructure providers may use their own technical mechanisms to deliver, secure, and monitor their services. Their respective policies may apply.

Managing storage

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking essential storage may cause some parts of Syntax to stop working correctly.
